It Is Important To Register With The Spice Board

Spice Board registration is required for anyone exporting spices. In addition, the Spices Board Act of 1986 prohibits the export of spices under or in compliance with certificates. 

A three-month period before the start of the new three-month term is required for someone who is already exporting spices.”

The Certified Exporting Spices Company (CRES) certification has been renewed

There will be a three-year validity period for the registration certificate during the block period. The Exporter’s Certificate must be renewed by submitting Form-1 to the authorities. Furthermore, if anyone fails to renew their license before it expires, they are accountable each month. There are no changes in the application fees for reapplying for 2019.

The issuing authority prohibits applicants from applying after August 31st. After the expiration of an exporter’s certificate, applicants must apply for a new one.

For exporters holding a valid exporter’s license who do not conduct any export activity during the next three years, the Spices Board will not consider renewing the certificate. At any time the exporter signs an export contract, they may request a fresh certificate.

How To Obtain A Spice Board Registration Certificate

  • In addition to registering on the Spice Boards of India government website, the Applicant must also provide their Import-Export Code Certificate, a phone number, and email address. Upon verification of the applicant’s phone number and email address, they will be instructed to complete the application form.
  • The Spice Board provides the Registration certificate as an Exporter of Spices, commonly known as the CRES, in compliance with the IE Code Certificate. Thus, the information on that certificate must be presented appropriately. Further, all of the supporting documents listed above must be provided by the Applicant.
  • In order to complete the application process, the Applicant must pay the relevant application costs.
  • After receiving all papers, the Spice Board’s authorized Regional Office examines them and verifies them. Applicants who discover a problem with their paperwork or job application are immediately instructed to correct it and resubmit it. After it has been reviewed and found to be in order, the paperwork is sent to the HO for final processing. In this case, documents are returned to the regional office for further processing.
  • The Spice Board registers the Applicant’s data as soon as the HO registers the Applicant’s data.
