Unique Identification Number assigned to MSMEs after they register with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

The Government of India has now replaced Udyog Aadhar with Udaym. MSME-eligible enterprises can obtain Udaym registration for their enterprise through the Udyam Registration portal.

Udyog Aadhar Certificate: What is it?

The Udyog Aadhar Certificate is issued to MSMEs registered with the Ministry of MSME. Udyog Aadhar Certificates contain the Udyog Aadhar Number of the enterprise.

The enterprises that hold the Udyog Aadhar Certificate now need to re-register and mitigate the Udyam Registration Portal and obtain the Udyam Registration Certificate. The Udyam Registration Certificate contains a unique registration number and can be used to access the government’s benefits for MSMEs.

How much is the Udyog Aadhar registration fee?

Companies with Udyog Aadhar Registration need to re-register for Udaym Registration. Mitigating from Udyog Aadhar Registration to Udyam Registration is free of charge.

Start the Udyam registration process

 Verification of Aadhar details and OTP

Upon visiting the portal, you must enter the Aadhar Number of the Applicant and the Applicant’s Mobile Number. Please note that the OTP will be sent to the Applicant’s Aadhar Linked Mobile Number. After you enter the OTP, the Application will ask for more information

Applicant details for Udyam

Please provide the Udyam Applicant’s name, email address. Mobile number, category, gender, business name, etc.

Details about the plant location

Please provide details of your plant location, such as the unit name, flat number, block, road, city and pin code.

Information about the company’s official address

Give us the precise details of your official address, such as your flat, bungalow, town, block, road, city, and pin.

Details of the previous EM-2/UAM mission

In case you already have the EM-2/UAM option, press the EM-2/UAM option and fill in all the details, otherwise click nil.

Cancellations: Applying

For cancellation of Udyog Aadhaar Registration, write a letter or application to the Udyog Aadhaar Registration Center, stating all the details of the enterprise or business activity, and specify whose registration needs to be canceled. In the application, you should also mention briefly the reasons for the termination or cancellation of the Udyog Aadhaar msme registration india

What documents are required for cancellation of Udyog Aadhaar registration?

Though there is no specific list of documents required to cancel Udyog Aadhaar, it is always best to bring all the necessary documents of the business, including the application form, the original Udyog Aadhaar Card, bank account information, and any documents you submitted during the registration process. These documents should be photocopied as well as the originals.

The Acknowledgement

Obtain an acknowledgment from the District Industrial Center after you have submitted your application and all required documents. Save this acknowledgment for future use.

 

No need to use your Aadhaar number for off-line registration

You can still register for Aadhar Udyog even if you do not have an Aadhaar number.

Apply for an Aadhaar card if you are eligible under section 3 of the Aadhaar Act.

Step 2: Until you receive your Aadhaar card, you will apply for Udyog Aadhaar through the District Industry Center (DIC) or MSME-DI. Thus, you need to submit the relevant documents to the DIC or MSME-DI applicable to you.

• Any valid address proof like voter ID card, driving license, passport, or bank passbook with photograph

Step 3: Fill out the Udyog Aadhar Mandate (UAMAadhaar enrollment requestnce this is done, submit it to the concerned DIC or MSME-DI.
